Horsehair shaving brush – straight shape

The mane and tail of the Andalusian horses are trimmed and cut every year during the spring grooming to prepare the horses for the summer and to make them more comfortable in hot temperatures. Only the hair that has already been cut off is used for Vielong brushes. To ensure that the hair complies with the strictest quality and hygiene regulations, it is prepared and washed in a complex process and then processed into brushes so that customers end up with an environmentally friendly, sustainable and ethically sound product. As you may know, most shaving brushes are made from badger hair - in this case called silvertip. To obtain the hair for brushes, brushes and the like, the badger is not sheared but killed.

To ensure a long lifespan of the shaving brush, please note the following care instructions: Never press the brush down, it is better to move it sideways like a paintbrush to avoid hair breakage. After use, rinse the shaving brush thoroughly, spin out the moisture and hang it to dry in a well-ventilated place. Do not clean the brush with disinfectant. Only use lukewarm water to rinse it out, not boiling water.
