As stories sometimes go, they begin on grey days. In this case in Paris in 2018. That's when Nuria Val, a well-traveled photographer, and Gabriela Salord, a marketing expert in the cosmetics sector, met for the first time. They shared their love of plants and their perspective of approaching nature through beauty. In the course of their conversations, the idea for ROWSE was born.
But because ideas remain just ideas if they are not implemented, Lamia El Kadiri, an old friend of Gabriela and also a pharmacist, joined the duo shortly afterwards to realize ROWSE's ambitions. In doing so, she followed a lifelong dream of combining scientific knowledge with her love of plants and their beneficial properties. Born in Tangier and with more than 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in France and Spain, Lamia became the mastermind behind ROWSE. She develops every single formulation and product routine in-house. She brings all her knowledge as well as thoroughness, tenacity and a demanding vision for the quality of the products.
