Founded in 2021 by Yasmin Sewell, Vyrao is the world’s first wellbeing brand to fuse energetic healing with master perfumery. Vyrao's collection of seven unisex fragrances is characterised by a holistic approach and has been part of NOW WOW's growing range of the finest niche fragrances since summer 2024.
Vyrao harnesses the power of nature to amplify energy flows while drawing on science-based insights to use scent to activate parts of the brain where memories and emotions are processed. The fragrances are formulated from the finest ethically sourced organic plant and flower extracts based on neuroscientific principles, energetic practices and ancient perfume recipe traditions to create something completely new in the industry.
Vyrao’s founder Yasmin Sewell spent many years working in the fashion industry as a buyer and creative director, establishing herself as a sought-after tastemaker with a keen eye on the future. During this time, she simultaneously trained in various systems of holistic wellbeing, including Reiki and Integrative Quantum Medicine.
In 2019, Yasmin had what she terms her “aha moment”, and decided to direct her lifelong passion for wellness and energetic medicine into creating her own brand – one that, this time, would inform the future of fragrance.
“I realised that energy needed to be the source of my brand,” says Yasmin. “I believe that, in the future, more of us will come to understand and accept the influence of energy as part of our overall wellbeing. We’ll know how to channel it, clear it, raise and work with it – and Vyrao is at the heart of that purpose. I envisaged Vyrao to help us connect to ourselves.”
