This Place is committed to functional natural cosmetics. The approach is to combine high-quality natural ingredients with the latest medical findings and to create synergies between individual ingredients in order to holistically improve health with the help of functional cosmetics.
This Place was developed and founded by the scientist Laura Simonow. She has been studying the positive effects of natural ingredients on the body for a long time. Laura spent over a year in the laboratory on the first products until she found the right formulations with a promising effect. It was particularly important to her to use only natural ingredients, to exploit the full power of nature and to create synergies between the individual ingredients.
"Many people have trouble falling asleep or feel restless, have tension or irritated skin. Nature has a solution for many areas of application," says the 37-year-old. In addition to the ingredients, the scent plays a crucial role at This Place. The sense of smell is closely linked to our feelings - certain smells and scents can trigger positive emotions or help us to integrate beneficial routines into everyday life.
Since June 2023, This Place has been an independent company and has separated from its parent company. Laura is looking forward to the new opportunities this will open up: "The overwhelmingly positive response to our independence and the increasing demand for our products underline our conviction: the future of cosmetics is functional and natural. We are incredibly pleased to now be able to pursue our vision and develop even more strongly and independently."
