Scented candle - A visit home

Scented candle - A visit home

Dufte Manufaktur
Fancy a walk in the forest? Past the Märkisch pine and Brandenburg spruce (or the Austrian equivalents with, for example, Styrian pine and Tyrolean spruce?) and into relaxation. Because: it smells like a visit home.
We love the beautiful scented candles from Dufte Manufaktur. Not only do they smell soothing without being overpowering, they are also completely natural and aesthetically pleasing.
DUFTE candles are made purely from rapeseed wax with a softwood wick. The wick is untreated and provides a tantalising, soft crackling sound and creates a good mood on dark days. Not least because of their fine fragrance. And, unlike conventional paraffin candles, without the annoying build-up of soot. The lid is made of wood and handmade, the jars are made from recycled wine or beer bottles.

Facts

Give me a second chance! If your candle has burnt out completely, you don't have to throw away the candle jar - give it a new life! Wash out the remains of the candle with hot water and simply use it as a drinking glass, small vase, pen holder or toothbrush mug. Thanks to the lid supplied, it is also ideal as a storage jar for all kinds of knick-knacks. There are no limits to your imagination.

Application

The first time on fire: Excited? You don't have to be. Just don't rush it! Give the candle enough time to burn the first time you light it. Only extinguish it again when the entire surface is already liquid. This can take up to two hours. This will prevent a tunnel from forming around the wick as it burns down.

Scented burning time: To ensure that the scent of your candle can spread as evenly as possible throughout the room, leave it to burn for at least one to three hours. The entire surface should become liquid from time to time.

Perfect length: Regularly shorten the wooden wick of your candle to 5mm. It is best to remove the burnt wood with your fingertips when it is cold. This way you can enjoy your candle for longer as it burns with a smaller flame.
