Both as a hairdresser and in her private life, Marion Garz no longer wanted to hear or see anything about ingredients based on petroleum, chemical softeners such as silicones and polyquaterniums (quats), chemical dyes, synthetic consistency agents, hormone-active emulsifiers and preservatives, horrible fragrances, product preservation using moisture-removing alcohol, excessive dilution with water, but also the use of inferior, refined, mainly nice-sounding vegetable oils and fats/butters. Over the years, she increasingly noticed, both in the diversity of her customers and in herself, that dry hair, whether caused by color treatments, environmental influences, incorrect handling of the hair, age, graying or genetics, was the biggest problem. The only strange thing is that the product range of the renowned hair care brand she used at the time was huge. She began to think, to rethink, and looked for natural cosmetics professionals with small manufacturers who were willing to go down this path with her and create great hair care products. In 2016, she finally started her development and testing phase, which was completed a year later. Her salon was her laboratory.
After 20 years of working as a hairdresser, she was fed up with the ubiquitous plastic bottles and dreamed of applying her personal belief in reducing waste to her salon. Huge amounts of plastic containers, paint tubes and aluminum foil end up in the bin every day. If you close your eyes to it, it's bearable. But if you don't, then it's not. She wanted to change something for her own hairdressing salon, for others, for herself and for all of you out there. It quickly became clear that the step would be radical. It had to be radical. She would finally break away from the big corporations, their unpleasant marketing strategies and all the hair care products whose list of ingredients had always been a mystery to her. Her demands were clear: only high-quality ingredients from nature and biochemistry, not refined, but pure and valuable plant oils, butters and waxes, herbs, salts and mineral earths and everything else that nature has in store that could benefit hair and skin. All of these substances as concentrated as possible, without excessive product dilution, ideally concentrates, no preservation through alcohol and without excessive packaging. Production in Germany? Of course! Ideally in natural cosmetics factories in your area. That was the idea. All of this not least for a breathtaking, happy hair and skin feeling, satisfied customers, amazed hairdressers and a sigh of relief for nature.
