In 2006, after the sudden death of the last Viennese soap maker, Friedrich Weiss, Sonja Baldauf, who was born in Vorarlberg, decided to continue producing his famous and incredibly good soaps and to make Vienna her adopted home. Since then, she has been running the small company undaunted and has skilfully soaped Vienna and the world with her elegant, traditional products. Soap is the air she breathes and together with her employees she works for the well-being of her customers. She holds the fragrant threads in her hands like a master.
According to a secret recipe passed down by Friedrich Weiss, all soaps are made by hand in the Viennese soap factory using the gentle cold-mixing process. The sensual coconut oil-based soap blocks nourish and protect demanding skin with the power of nature - without chemical additives, mineral oils or preservatives. The best natural oils, plant extracts, mostly from controlled organic cultivation, and fine fragrance essences are used and, with a strong dash of love, become fragrant cleaners with Viennese charm.
