Hetkinen was founded in 2018. The company draws inspiration from Finnish forests and trees. The design approach is careful and minimalist. Their philosophy is to bring nature closer to the people who use their products in their busy everyday lives. Hetkinen respect the wisdom of the Nordic wilderness and the health benefits it can offer us. Knowledge of the healing properties of the different trees helps them develop balanced blends for natural skin care. These nourish, refresh, soothe and complement skin of all ages. All Hetkinen products are manufactured in Finland in their own factories.
All products are made from 100% natural ingredients. They do not contain any artificial fragrances or additives. The entire product line is vegan. They use as few ingredients as possible and do not "beautify" their products with endless lists of trendy ingredients. Instead, they leave out everything superfluous and keep their products as minimalistic as possible without compromising the desired effect.
The packaging deserves special attention because it is part of the product: most care products come in a wooden jar made from the fragrant heartwood of the pine tree. The antibacterial, beautiful and functional heartwood is alive: it lives with the seasons, expanding in summer and contracting in winter. The jars are little mirrors of nature: beautiful, unique and full of character, and can have a long life for a variety of things after use.
