Who is behind the unique scents of DUFTE, a small but fine candle manufacturer in Potsdam? We would like to introduce: Justine! The mother of three is the heart and soul of the DUFTE manufacturer. All of her products are created by her herself - with lots of love, a keen nose and only the best raw materials - natural, regional and sustainable. Because these topics are particularly close to her heart.
She lives with her family in Potsdam, Germany - where she also founded the DUFTE Manufaktur. Her motivation was that many conventional candles contain ingredients that can be harmful to the body or release soot. She no longer wanted these types of products for herself or her children. Instead, she created a natural alternative herself - DUFTE candles.
As a mother of three, in addition to natural ingredients and raw materials, sustainability is a major concern for her. There is no plastic in her products. She avoids palm oil and soy entirely and is very careful about choosing her suppliers - she knows many of them personally. She wants to know where her raw materials come from and how they are produced: naturally and fairly!
