Carbonnique - these are Monika and Marta, friends who have known each other for 25 years, but whose paths initially separated after high school until they met again and created the Carbonnique brand together.
Monika is a graduate dermatologist and obtained her PhD from the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology at the Medical University of Gdansk, where she worked as an assistant professor. She is the co-author of over 15 scientific papers in the field of dermatology. She has always been interested in how women perceive beauty and self-acceptance. Her professional interests also include stress and the effects of its inflammatory properties on the skin condition. She currently runs her own practice where she offers comprehensive medical and cosmetic dermatology.
Marta holds a Master's degree in Marketing from the Warsaw School of Economics. She currently lives in New York. For the past 14 years, she has worked as a Media Account Director at the media agency OMD, having had the opportunity to work for Fortune 500 companies. She co-authored several campaigns that were awarded an Effie - the most prestigious award for media and marketing effectiveness.
