Fabian and Benjamin are the founders of TIO. After studying design together, they went their separate ways, but they were still united by their passion for questioning the status quo. Their goal as designers was to fully understand the big picture and develop new solutions based on that. It was precisely for this reason that they founded TIO in 2015 and created their first toothbrush - with a replaceable head right from the start.
With their small Berlin team and their plant-based dental care products, they want to make the world a little better. Sounds like a big goal? And complicated? It is. But the mere fact that you are reading this motivates them to keep going. TIO is more than a toothbrush. With TIO, they want to prove in their own way that environmental pollution is avoidable. Because the sustainable redesign of an everyday object, such as a toothbrush, which billions of people use every day, can have a huge, positive impact on our environment.
