In a world full of things, Guoda and Justė, the two founders of OVO Things, firmly believe that handmade products have an exceptional quality when they are made with human dedication, with the sensual power of feeling and seeing.
Each piece they design is handcrafted in limited quantities by skilled people in various small workshops in Lithuania, their long-term partners. All things are made from natural materials such as wood, porcelain, bronze, brass and beeswax.
They started in 2015 with slim beeswax dinner candles and cute beeswax birthday candles with colorful wicks. They are particularly proud that they can offer a sustainable and, above all, non-harmful alternative to the usual paraffin candles. Since then, their "candle family" has grown to include several candle holders, all made by different artisans. There is a lot of beauty in making things the traditional way; and so Guoda and Justė are happy to contribute to craftsmanship and strengthen their region and the people there.
