Dr. Kerstin Schallaböck is a general practitioner and mother of four. The youngest son, affectionately called Kami by the family, has been suffering from extremely itchy neurodermatitis since he was one year old. He has trouble sleeping and scratches himself until he is sore. Medical treatments only help temporarily; cortisone is to be avoided.
In the course of her work as a company doctor in an Austrian cosmetics company, she was given an oil mixture that not only worked wonders for her son, eliminating the lively boy's itchy, inflammatory skin irritations; it also worked for her patients and friends. She took up this product approach and improved it. She founded Kami-Skincare because she is convinced that her products can also help other people to feel better about their skin.
Sustainability and family come first. Therefore, the packaging and raw materials of all KAMI Skincare products come from Austria or Europe as far as possible, and the product is made and bottled in Vienna.
The namesake Kami chose the color of the products himself: his favorite color is green. Incidentally, in India Kami stands for the divine - a fitting name for a super-effective product line that offers help in many areas of application.
