Triggered by their personal difficulties in finding suitable care products for their individual skin problems, the founders began to rethink body care and hachiko Skincare took shape. They discovered that many products on the market focused on the face, but there were significantly fewer high-quality products for the body. hachiko now ensure that you can treat your body to skin care that can more than keep up with your facial routine. Inspired by the loyalty, constancy and love of the namesake (Hachikō was a Japanese Akita dog that is still considered the epitome of loyalty in Japan today), they have since developed vegan (and of course cruelty-free) skin care and supported conservation projects that aim to minimize the negative impact on our planet.
In their studio in Berlin, they create and develop new product ideas. They are constantly looking for unique and effective ingredients for their products.
hachiko Skincare is for every skin type and in general, hachiko takes you as you are and aims to be as environmentally friendly as possible: plastic is largely reduced, the paper packaging (labels, shipping boxes and materials) is FSC-certified and, above all, when it comes to oils, they prefer organic and even upcycled oils.
In addition, they strive to reduce their carbon footprint and offset unavoidable emissions. For example, they do this through their partnership with ecologi, with whose help they plant a tree for every order.
