At BODHA, everything was just right for us: a brand that is managed with mindfulness, carefully selected ingredients for all fragrances, elegant design, combined with a worldview that puts the things around you in context with yourself and appeals to all the senses.
BODHA was founded in 2014 by perfumer Emily L'Ami and designer Fred L'Ami in Los Angeles. The two describe BODHA as a meditative fragrance studio because they explore the unique ability of scents to create moments of connection and calm. In this way, they create a new world of therapeutic perfumes to help us find harmony with ourselves.
That means from therapeutic ingredients to tactile packaging design, BODHA explores the possibilities beyond thought to deepen our life experience.
Emily L'Ami says of her love of scents: "Smell is my favorite sense because it works beyond our thinking mind and goes straight into our subconscious. This invisible, mysterious sense, which we don't always perceive, profoundly influences our emotions."
