The story of Gaëlle Lebrat Personnaz and Manucurist began in Paris in 1996. That was when her mother Fanny opened her first nail care salon called "Manucurist". From a young age, she immersed herself in this world, observed long conversations between women and recognized common concerns: too little time to take care of themselves, disappointments with classic nail polishes, damage caused by applying and removing semi-permanent gels...
After working for several years for major luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Prada and Yves Saint Laurent, she took over the family business with the aim of using her love of colour and her experience in the fashion industry to bring about an ecological and healthy change. And she succeeded.
Before we started NOW WOW 2020, we looked at countless nail polishes. Not just superficially, but also meticulously checked every single shade for its ingredients - and what can we say, at the end of our research, one candidate was clear: Manucurist (even though we initially had the expectation that a wooden cap was an absolute must, we generously neglected that in favor of the overall picture). The range has gradually grown and now nothing is left to be desired in terms of color.
