TIO's vegan, plastic-free and plant-based dental floss has a new "home". It now comes even more conveniently in a refillable dispenser made of bioplastic.
The dental floss is made from 100% renewable raw materials and is based on castor oil, meaning it does not contain conventional silk of animal origin or petroleum-based components. This completely renewable resource does not require large amounts of water, uses only a small area of arable land and is therefore perfectly suited to a future with economically sustainable cultivation areas. The dental floss is also waxed with vegetable waxes and organic coconut oil and tastes of natural mint. These components ensure an antibacterial effect and fresh breath.
Compared to conventional disposable containers, TIO's innovative refill system saves a lot of waste without any loss of convenience. The dispenser is durable, easy to use and is characterized by its attractive design.
The lid and base of the dispenser are made of bioplastic based on pine oil, which is obtained in a side stream of wood and paper production. The production is ISCC+ certified and the material is recyclable in the existing recycling cycle. The spool core is made from sugar cane.
